OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

In the Mornings students have 3 hours of outdoor activities with their Spanish teacher where the aim is to practice what has been learnt in the morning through real-life situations, and of course have fun.

Our programme has been designed to offer variety, and with all ages in mind; as long you are a normal fit person between the ages of 18-60 you will certainly enjoy it . If you have any doubt in this respect please don't be afraid to ask, we are willing to change any of the activities to suit your needs and there is an ample range of possibilities.

Activities description: We have a choice of walks to different mountain lakes taking the Balneario De Panticosa as a starting point. This is a natural spa bath which is a wonder in itself, for its remarkable setting and the old feel of its buildings dating from the nineteenth century.

Canyoning. Descending the river canyons has become the favourite summer sport in the mountains over recent years, and you‘ll discover why when you try it. The beauty of the scenery and the thrill of the sport are an unbeatable combination.

Walking on the wooded hills above Panticosa where we’ll enjoy magnificent views of the whole valley, will delight in the varied Pyrenean flora and if we’re quiet and lucky have a glimpse of the fauna. Each week we change the itinerary.

We combine our outings in the "great outdoors" with cultural visits. The romanesque trail can be done by car or bicycle. It takes us back to the X –X1 century, when a cluster of little churches and monasteries unique in their style were built. Alternately we’ll visit San Juan de la Peña.

We’ll take the cable car up to the lakes of Panticosa where we can have a picnic, swim, sunbathe or walk up to Rincón del Verde,which gives the name to our school as it is our favourite place owing to its majestic scenery.

Other activities that we normaly do in our courses: canoeing, horse riding, pot holing...

All the costs of the activities: technical material, specialised guides, entrance fees and transport are included in the price of the course.
